You can make it fold dvery own, I did, and also it still is completely function able. Just renders the metal tabs shorter so as soon as it"s carried all the method up it"ll lay either waySent from AutoGuide.com Free App
Just want to point out that, it might be a safety and security problem when trimming dvery own those tabs to other members. If and also as soon as you have actually passengers in the ago seat.
Do it at your own danger. Lol. Found it on one more forum I constant and the male has wrecked and seat continued to be undamaged. Still. At your own threat.Sent from AutoGuide.com Free App
How much trimming are we talking here? I don"t watch any kind of integrity adjust through trimming the tabs even an inch or 2. I think they are as long as they are simply to overview the seat up and down without having actually to usage two hands. I actually had actually to bfinish one earlier a little when I reset up my seats reason it hooked on the loop once I was pulling out out of the ago door.Sent from AutoGuide.com Free App
Honestly. I don"t see it any type of even more dangerous than placing a 6" lift and also oversized tires on a truck. If you wreck in that you run the hazard of injuring inhabitants also. That being shelp, I have no use for either.

If you look at the tab, there"s a rounded location on height extfinishing to a flat tab on bottom. You just cut the flat. It"s roughly 1-1.5 inchesSent from AutoGuide.com Free App
I flipped the truck or id uppack some lol. For the record. After 3 flips off the highmeans at a high rate the seat stayed in tact even wkth this mod.
Check my photo album. I did mine over 3 years ago with zero worries, seats never before came loose. I took a sharpy and also reached behind the seat an marked at the bottom of the bracket, then removed the seats and cut just below the note. I offered the first as a template, and also noted the remainder an cut them all off with a sawzall, they videotaped them through ducktape so they wouldn"t rattle.
Kind of an old threview yet does anyone have actually a good image of the tabs after they did this to there truck? I would love to watch some photos before I attempt this. Thanks!
Kind of an old threview but does anyone have a great photo of the tabs after they did this to tbelow truck? I would love to watch some pictures prior to I attempt this. Thanks!
I didn"t realize you had an 04. I can not remember what the brackets were like on that model. Is it a crew, extended, continuous cab?
Its an extended cab, I think after looking at various other photos i established what im messing via lol. i did watch on one more forum someone had bent the tabs back more so they slid appropriate over. i am go to attempt this this particular day, much less harm done it i screw in my opinion.

Got my curiosity piqued. Not really interested in folding the earlier down, however how difficult to remove and reinstall the back seat on a whim? I just never before looked right into it till this threview got me reasoning around it. I could check out a time wbelow just rerelocating the ago seat sometimes could be an excellent thing to execute. Are they "quick pinned" so that one might just remove a set of pins for the brackets and remove?
^^^^^ Now that would certainly be a great idea, rather of having to rerelocate a butt ton of nuts, most that can not be accessed via an affect wrench.
