Just to buy a new blend door actuator and also the instructions on just how to remove and also install are generic. I"ve gotten rid of the panels down by the drivers right foot and also knee area, however I"m still not seeing the component I bought all over (Autozone part # 604-100). Instruction also say to eliminate vacuum lines from actuator, but the actuator i bought only has actually an electric connection. WTF? carry out I have the dorn part? What ns bought is all that"s offered!

Yeah, the actuator I acquired with my van looks choose that, but due to the fact that I didn"t eliminate the original, I also have no idea where it"s supposed to go. Beside from some venting, what else has to be removed to change it? the IS down below on the motorists side yes? everyone got any kind of decent diagrams, instructions, or pics that would help? It"s Oct 15th, and I live in Canada, so warmth would be nice."94 Sonoma SL 2.2L

No, that is on the passenger side. If friend drop the glove box and activate the door by switching from cool to warm and earlier with the truck to run you will watch the vacuum managed arm moving. It might move without the truck running however vacuum will fade and also you may not view the arm move. I have actually not readjusted mine also though ns think I require to, I believe you have to remove the whole dash to perform so. Ideal thing is you have the right to drive without the dash. It will certainly take some time come remove and reinstall allow alone the time working top top the blend door itself.

Ok, was hoping to just remove the gloves box to access the actuator, however unfortunately the whole dash should come off. It IS behind the glovey though, sitting on top of the heater core housing, simply a bitch to gain to. So currently that I have actually the dash partly removed (haven"t disconnected every the gauges or climate manage panel yet), ns tested the selector knob as was suggested earlier, and saw the key vent door relocating fine, and also all the setups I put it on operated fine, simply no heat air. It lost no vacuum strength at all, as I ran it because that awhile, and also all the hoses in the engine were hot or warm(both rad hoses and both hoses running right into the heater core). The guy I to buy this van from claimed the actuator needed to it is in replaced, however now I"m starting to wonder if it"s the core itself or the thermostat.EDIT: I likewise noticed that my Temp. Gauge won"t go over 50 either, is this normal for this trucks?
